Treatments

Our treatments are unique and tailored to each individual. So, no two sessions are or feel the same.

However, they all have the same goal: to restore your balance, reduce pain, improve range of motion and wellbeing and most importantly, to help you self-regulate your nervous system.

During our treatments we aimed to release any triggers points and/or fascia adhesions that are causing pain or restricted movement, restore the natural alignment of the soft tissue and activate your parasympathetic system, so you can feel your conscious true self at the end of our session.

It is normal to experience emotional release during a myofascial release session, as body and mind are connected. We will always do our best to assist you and the promise we are there for you and with you at all times.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release (MFR) is a massage not only of the muscles but also of the fascia/connective tissue.

Fascia is in a constant state of re-organization. The techniques of MFR act to re-organize the fascia by manipulating it through stretches and pressure techniques.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point therapy is a technique that involves the application of pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body.

Trigger points are hyperirritable spots in the skeletal muscle, painful at touch and are associated with palpable nodules in taut bands of the muscle fibers.

4

Dry Needling

Dry needling is an effective form of treatment that involves the use of acupuncture needles to release trigger points and improve blood supply to muscles, tendons and ligaments.

5

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

It is a gentle form of massage used to relieve painful swelling in the arms and legs caused by lymphedema.

Lymphedema happens when the tissues retain fluid left behind after the cardiovascular system sends blood to the tissues and organs.

It is a dry massage, performed at the superficial level of the skin.
